About Me.
My name is Emma Brosius and I am currently a junior from Arlington Heights, Illinois, and my journey with horses has been an incredible part of my life for over a decade. I've developed a deep passion for riding, not just for the sport itself, but for the horses, the community, and the people involved.

I am currently competing in the 3'3" Junior Hunters and equitation with my green horse, Carasco Z or Broccoli. He started competing with a professional six months before we purchased him and since then I have been the first junior to show him. Although he is green, we have had great results together with multiple championships, top classic placings, and equitation results. I have also shown in the equitation on My Pride Z, a fairly seasoned equitation horse I leased for a year who taught me a lot about consistency, riding difficult tracks, and maintaining a strong position.. Prior to the equitation and hunters, I have an extensive track record in the pony division, with numerous championships and pony medal placings. Outside of the show ring, I have spent a lot of time as a working student for my trainer during the winter show circuits tacking up, caring for the horses, and riding the client horses.

Academically, I attend Prospect High School where I maintain a weighted GPA of 4.32 and an unweighted GPA of 3.88. I have been an honor roll student every semester and aspire to study business, specifically marketing. My freshman year, I was on junior varsity lacrosse and enjoyed being part of a team environment as we all worked toward the same goal.

Looking ahead, I'm excited about the possibilities and challenges that college riding teams may bring. I'm eager to learn, grow, and continue pursuing my passion for horses, hoping to contribute my skills to the broader equestrian community.
